My guarantee:

1. 8-day trip: at least 115 bird species – clearly identified
2. 10-day trip: at least 155 bird species – same
3. 15-day trip: at least 235 bird species – same

If fewer species are recorded during your trip than guaranteed, you will receive £4 per missed species, per person.

Example: On a 10-day trip, the guarantee is 155 species. If you see 145 species, this means 10 species were missed. You will then receive compensation of 10 x £ 4 = £ 40 per person.

There is no upper limit to the number of species you can see. Many participants see considerably more than the guaranteed minimums. The routes and daily programmes are designed to make the most of the opportunities for seeing bird species and for photography.

Conditions:

The guarantee applies to bird species that are clearly identified by the guide during the planned activities of the trip – either visually or by sound. Unfavourable weather conditions (such as fog or storms), flight delays, illness, or optional activities outside the planned programme are excluded from this guarantee.
